SFC is a token that is generated thanks to activities in the environmental sector, with specific reference to the sequestration of carbon dioxide and the improvement of air quality; the sequestration of carbon dioxide is obtained by using economic resources in the care and strengthening of forest activities. Thanks to the Kyoto Protocol and subsequent international agreements it has been possible to build specific financial instruments in the energy sector called carbon credits in the form of certificates, which can be traded on the market. Carbon credit certificates are the necessary underlying to the Smart Forest Coin emissions.
